DC Wine Fest 2026: Fall Edition at Dock 5, Union Market

Two days, unlimited pours, and one of DC's best fall party rooms. The DC Wine Fest Fall Edition returns to Dock 5 at Union Market on October 16–17, 2026, with curated wineries pouring tastings all session long, live music, and seasonal food vendors. If autumn in DC has a signature wine event, this is it.

What the Fall Edition Offers

Unlimited Tastings

Every ticket includes unlimited wine tastings from specially curated wineries — you sample to your heart's content across the session. Early Admission tickets get you in one full hour before the general crowd, which means shorter lines and more time with the pourers.

Timed Sessions Across Two Days

The festival runs in timed sessions to keep the room comfortable. Friday October 16 opens with an evening session (6–9 PM); Saturday October 17 runs three sessions — early afternoon, late afternoon, and evening. Pick the session that fits your day; your pass is valid only for the session purchased, and tastings stop 15 minutes before each session ends.

Food, Music, and Fall Atmosphere

Live music runs throughout, and food is available for purchase from vendors including Maryland's Corky's Crab Cakes and Arlington's MPANADAS. The Dock 5 hall gets the full fall treatment, making it as much a seasonal outing as a tasting.

The Practical Details

Tickets and Prices

General Admission starts around $44–57 depending on the session, with Early Access around $62. Tickets are sold through Eventbrite, and sessions can sell out — the event runs rain or shine and passes are final sale.

Getting There

Dock 5 at Union Market, 1309 5th Street NE, Washington DC 20002. The Union Market district is Metro-accessible and packed with restaurants and bars for a before-or-after stop. As always: never drink and drive — plan a ride.

Know Before You Go

This is strictly a 21+ event — no exceptions, no pets. Wineries are subject to change based on availability. Eat before you go, pace yourself across the unlimited pours, and drink water between tastings.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Is food included in the ticket price?

No — your ticket covers unlimited wine tastings, live music, and the venue experience. Food from vendors like Corky's Crab Cakes and MPANADAS is available for separate purchase inside the festival.

Can I switch my ticket to a different session?

Session transfers are at the organizer's discretion and are never permitted within 48 hours of the event start — and never into a sold-out session. Choose your session carefully when you buy.
